Microwaves

If you have a microwave, have you ever thought about how much you use it while cooking? Our 30 year old microwave bit the dust last week and I hadn't realized how much time was saved by having it. I can still cook anything I want, everything just takes more time. lol Isn't it amazing how much we take for granted in our "have to have it 5 minutes ago" society? :)

I actually don't use ours that much - thawing and occasionally heating up left-overs. But as I hate left-overs unless specifically planned, that doesn't happen too often. Sorry about yours dying and hope you can quickly find a good, cheap one!!! Thirty years is an impressive number:) I love it when things last a long time as I am quite attached to what I have and prefer it to something new.

My parents have an extra one we get to pick up at Thanksgiving. :D I use mine for thawing and melting things for cooking primarily.
